It was so wonderful to be back down in La Paz once more. It was no time at all before I had seen old friends and felt like I had never left. I found one of our dock neighbors, Jim, of the S/V Curious, making a necklace in the shape of a fish hook. It was made of a cow bone he had found laying around out in the desert. I was admiring his work on this little jewel and he insisted it was for me. Not having brought much in the way of jewelry with me it is my fashion statement when I get 'dressed up'.
